One issue with social programs is determining the right people to provide aid, which becomes even more difficult when the social program focuses on the poorest segment of the population. However, using a family’s observable household attributes, it is possible to classify and predict their level of need. In this tutorial, we will walk through the steps of how to do this, and see how automated feature engineering can help us generate 2000 features.
